Theory

  • Professional tools and e-file bits required for a pedicure
  • Choosing the right base coat, top coat, and gel polish color
  • Working with abrasive pedicure discs: sizes, grit levels, speed, and technique
  • Working on cracked heels using abrasive pedicure discs
  • Using abrasive discs on different skin types

Pedicure technique

  • Removing old gel polish
  • Cuticle work using diamond e-file bits
  • Cuticle trimming
  • Preparing the toenails for gel polish
  • Applying base coat, gel polish, and top coat

Hands-on practice

  • Practice with 1 live model
  • Each student performs a complete pedicure on one foot of the model
  • Individual guidance and corrections throughout the training

Each student completes a full pedicure on one foot, with individual guidance from Irene.
